A "cool" deal!

Just a little savings to pass along to you...
Home Depot is offering a Christmas Light Trade-In November 5th through the 15th. The deal is, trade in your old or even broken incandescent light strands for $3 off of the cost of a strand of LED lights. Some folks have reported that the LED strands only cost $6.97 right now, which brings the cost to just under $3. The real benefit is in the long term electricity savings! (*and in how many you can plug end to end without blowing the fuse! LOL!)

BTW, I haven't had a chance to stop by my HD yet, but these LED light strands might work well for the glass block projects, because then you wouldn't have to worry about them heating up. Of course, 50 LED lights might be pretty bright!

So, anyone out there used LED lights before? Any takers this year?

Thanks for the info, Jen! Very sweet of you to pass this along.

  2. I'm so annoyed by this promotion! I have so many lights and want to do this. Of course *this* year they are all in storage in another state. Figures!

Hi! I'd love to hear from you, so...leave me a message!
