Do you believe in gnomes?

Gnomes run rampant in European folklore. The first garden gnomes were actually made in Germany in the mid 1800s. They are felt to be helpful to the gardener, particularly at night...but have been reported to roam about the countryside as well!

Here's my take on the sometimes kitschy (is that even a real word?), but always cute gnome!



The toadstools are available as part of another file that I'll share with you later!

    oh! your files are Gorgeous! i LOVE them all but if i had to pick a Fave ... it would have to be the crowns since that's what i see coming up in my the near future (my son just returned from a trip to London!) thanks for sharing your beautiful work :o)

    This gnome is sooo cute, I had to laugh because I have heard the folklores about the gnomes and think they are so ugly in a garden.

    Wow! I love the Genie lamp! We just went to Disney and it would be perfect for scrapping the Aladdin ride! The gnome is adorable too! I can't wait to see what else you come up with!
