Girl with curl

I found some curlers like I remember as a little girl. They are the ones with essentially a pipecleaner surrounded by a block of foam and covered with a fabric sheath.

I picked them up on clearance...and of course HAD to try them in my DD's hair.

She has such baby fine hair though, so the curls looked great, for about the first 15 minutes, then started falling fall just under their own weight. Gotta remember to use a setting lotion of some kind next time...but here's the first pic after removing them!

My daughter's first birthday party

So I had to share this pic of my layout for my DD first birthday...it is actually the first page that I completed for her album! )Please excuse the privacy "blurring" on some items. Lots of work ahead I am afraid...will I ever catch up with them?

I've gotta say though it is FUN scrapping with pink, and flowers, and butterflies!
