Fall is in the air!

Well, we are less than a week into "fall" in the Northern Hemisphere...and it's starting to feel like it! I just love this crisp cool air in the mornings (just enough to have a long sweater or a light jacket) and the gorgeous days. According to the weather report we will get lows into the upper 40's in the next day or two.

I must say that fall wass one of the things I missed most when we were in Alaska. It seemed that there the air turned crisp, the leaves turned brown, and the snow fell...all in the same weekend!

I've added a new file to the Scrapbooking, Cards, & More Membership Club at Paperthreads to celebrate the changes. It's got 10 great die cuts to add the charm of autumn leaves to you pages and crafts.

Latest file in the Membership Club!

I just wanted to share a quick peek at the latest file to get uploaded in the Scrapbooking, Cards, & More Club at Paperthreads...it's a set of 2 cute little photo frames! It reminds me of old Polaroids, but with a modern twist on retro.


Oh, and if you haven't joined the club, you may have missed some of the sweet variations on the 3D Swirly Paper Star Lantern shared by the members. I'll try to get some of the pics up tomorrow!

Do you Wordle?

Have you seen Wordle? Do you have your own? I think one of the coolest things is that you can simply type in the address of a blog with RSS or Atom feed and it will generate a word cloud from that!

LOL! I guess I shouldn't be surprised to see "Paperthreads", "SVG", "KNK", and "file" so prominent in my cloud. I guess I was surprised that I used "little" so often...hmmm...

Update...

Just time to post an quick update. My DD did just fine with surgery today. She seems a little unsteady on her feet today...whether that is do to anesthesia or to having her middle ear open again, who knows?

Sorry I missed you...

Just a quick note to let you know why I haven't blogged much today. You see, my DD had loads of ear infections last winter and ended up with ear tubes (which have been a blessing!)

Well...she has this annoying little habit of putting things in her ears and has to go back to the operating room bright and early tomorrow to have one of them cleaned out. So, it's off to bed for me, I may get a chance to pop on later tomorrow...who knows!?

Who doesn't love a little tush?

Okay, so not that kind of tush! LOL! But, I do think little babies' tushes are the cutest thing. I just remember how soft my little one's skin was! Since we're on the topic of babies...I want to share with you this next pic, a layout done by Deb.


She used my Just the Bare Facts file and added her own title using the K1996 font. Shading was done with Copics. Isn't her darling granddaughter just the cutest little thing?
