When I installed wishblade software it goes through everything and then says there's a kernal problem with the driver not being compatible with my version of windows (vista 32 bit) and to see manufacturer. I tried to cut my last name from the software and it brings up a thing where I have to click okay to cut but when I do nothing happens, except that the same 'click okay' thing pops up constantly unless I click cancel. You can always change the cap yourself, simply use yellow for thin, blue for normal, pink for thick. I know that I have accessed the wishblade controller (using the old original wishblade drivers to "print" from illustrator). Let me see if I can get to them via the craftrobo controller or not.Jen Adkinshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16227897687644281867noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4575016127237220780.post-18269568164134307622010-08-10T20:13:20.234-04:002010-08-10T20:13:20.234-04:00I can cut from Windows 7 now but I have a question...I can cut from Windows 7 now but I have a question about selecting media. The point is that ...Sorry for the confusion Kelley! The point is that you can cut unwelded letters directly from word since the ttf fonts are vector based. In other words, you could type out the alphabet, go to "print" from word, choose to "print" to the craftrobo driver, and it would cut the letters out on your wishblade.

Now, you can use the wishblade software just as you have previously, except there is no way to do print and cuts...as you are "printing" to the wishblade via the craftrobo driver (as if the wishblade were the printer).

Let me know if you have any other questions!Jen Adkinshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16227897687644281867noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4575016127237220780.post-58469743578524611512010-07-19T16:04:38.361-04:002010-07-19T16:04:38.361-04:00Okay, that makes sense. Usually the machine automatically does this when new software is installed, but this is just a way to manually make sure that you have a recent roll back spot.

If you go to the "help" on your start up menu and type in "restore point" it should walk you through setting one step-by-step.Jen Adkinshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16227897687644281867noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4575016127237220780.post-18696239018599660442010-07-19T10:22:51.883-04:002010-07-19T10:22:51.883-04:00What exactly is "restore point" and what...What exactly is "restore point" and what does it do? I don't think it will work with create & cut, but if it has a "print option" for printing cutlines, it might be worth a shot.

I have tried using this method with the craftrobo/silhouette, but even though the driver is installed the same way, the software just "knows" that the driver should be for a cutter and not a printer, so it shows up only in the output to plotter/cutter list, not the printer options.

I have used this method to output successfully from illustrator as well as word (to the blue wb).Jen Adkinshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16227897687644281867noreply@blogger.com
